To work as a security guard in the State of Maryland, you must take security guard training from a Maryland State certified security guard training provider. M4 Security provides training for your initial and renewal certifications. You will learn:

SECURITY GUARD
ADDITIONALLY:
After completion of training, Livescan fingerprints and passport photos will need to be provided with your security guard application submittal. For an extra charge, M4 Security often provides these services at our training event. Please contact M4 Security COO Malcolm Day at mday@m4security.us for further details.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Current Security Guards who hold a valid Security Guard Certification and have not successfully completed 12 hours of initial security guard training sponsored by a Maryland Police Training Commission approved provider, will be required to successfully complete this training in order to be eligible to renew their Security Guard Certification.
